This limited edition artwork by EVera is a contemporary street art homage to the enduring legacy of Andy Warhol, created in celebration of what would have been his 90th anniversary. The iconic Campbell’s Soup can, a symbol that redefined modern art, is reinterpreted through a raw, urban language that bridges pop art history with present-day street culture.
The piece is executed in acrylic and spray paint on canvas, incorporating original exhibition brochures, postcards, and tickets from the Andy Warhol exhibition held at the Complesso del Vittoriano in Rome, Italy. These authentic paper elements were personally collected by the artist during his visit to Rome, transforming the work into both a visual tribute and a tangible historical artifact.
By layering contemporary materials over these original printed fragments, EVera creates a dialogue between past and present, reverence and rebellion. The Eternal City becomes a silent witness to the timeless power of pop art, while the Campbell’s can emerges not only as an icon, but as a relic preserved, reimagined, and brought into the present through street art expression.
