Description:

This new series arises on the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred in the United States. Without a doubt, it was an event that changed the course and the mentality of everyone.

The artworks are limited edition, completely unique, made in the "San Francisco Chronicle" newspaper original covers, with distinctive dates, from the day after the attack, to the tragedy first anniversary.

The central idea of each artwork is to transmit the powerlessness situation that people experienced at that time, through the character gesture and the journalistic image.

Mickey Mouse was chosen since he’s a character that symbolizes happiness. In each artwork there are two lines that simulate the Twin Towers. You’ll realize that the character is in the middle of both towers, referring to the solidarity of the people around the world.

Each artwork title talks about the people’s courage in this situation. From this tragedy, all people’s values and positive aptitudes resurfaced with greater force.

This project ideology is to remember what happened in September 2001 and above all, to understand that these tragedies are not necessary to demonstrate the greatness of humanity.
